I like to experiment with different materials, proportions and techniques, developing conceptual ideas and series of work.
I sketch a lot. Sketching is central in my creative process. A daily workout for the eye and hand and a primary activity for the visual artist, sharpening pictorial perception.
I work with paintings, photographs, collages, graphics, graphic designs, logos, webdesigns, modelling, etc.
Mixing different techniques seeking a new synthesis of the sketched
and the painted
Om min
Motivkreds-vandring:
citerer Kunsthistoriker Ulla Hjorth:
In the creative process I work in an oblique structured format; the oblique muscles of the body goes around and across connecting opposite parts of the body.
I trust my instincts, following the inner source of ideas and motives, testing them in practise.
I´m interested in my close surroundings, domestic environments and objects from daily life,; continuing with an artistic expression and tradition among women painters down through the ages.
"Interieur in Room" is a series of collage-works/mixed media dealing with compositions of expressive and modest interieurs in silent rooms with an imaginative perspective.
It is a contemporary documentation of
the Domestic Room in our time.
